City Commission
Mission and Purpose:
The City Commission exists to act as the city of San Juan's primary governing body, setting policy, approving the budget, and appointing city officials. It's duties include establishing city departments, adopting ordinances, and determining city services. The commission works to ensure the city's growth is balanced with economic development, quality of life, and community well-being.

Civil Service Commission
Mission and Purpose:
The Civil Service Commision exists to ensure a merit-based system for the selection, promotion, and working conditions of civil service city employees. This includes administering civil service exams, and promoting efficiency, capability, and fairness for public servants.

Police Athletic League (PAL)
Mission and Purpose:
To build a positive relationship between law enforcement and youth through sports, educational, and community activities. Its goals are to prevent juvenile crime and delinquency, empower young people through mentorship, and strengthen the community by fostering trust and providing constructive outlets for children and teens.
